Translucency & Opacity // Erinn Heilman
Erinn is a Brooklyn based interdisciplinary artist utilizing her background in traditional art training, set painting, and prop building. She received her BFA from University of Michigan and MFA from the New York Academy of Art. Working in both painting and sculpture, she combines imagery of body, landscape, and architecture.
In this sculpture series, she uses ephemeral materials such as wax and water to convey ideas of internal translucency and opacity.
