Senory Tunnels & The Afterlife // Rosa Deer
Rosa Deer is an art collective founded in 2006 by textile and light artist Anna Rosa Hiort-Lorenzen. They produce a huge range of artworks ranging from small fashion collections and textile/light installations to collaborations and site-specific projects.
Rosa Deer's latest work is a stationary installation called "Old Age" and is part of a sensory tunnel exhibiting human life. In the installation, the audience enters an old living room where light suddenly disappears and the "afterlife" appears.
Rosa Deer is interested in exploring light pattern paths in nature. To see more of their work head to www.rosadeer.com
These images are from the exhibition PHOSPHORUS which was shown at The North Atlantic House in Copenhagen in 2015 and at Bora Bora theater, Århus, in 2017.
The exhibition consisted of 6 huge textile installations moving by air streams. Each interpreted a part of Nordic nature. It was shown in changing light from brightness to darkness, revealing two sides to each installation. A soundscape accompanied each installation and also changed with the light.
